M340: A smooth cone 6 stoneware that fires buff at cone 6. Recommended for wheel throwing and hand-building.
M340S: Same as M340 with added manganese to give a brown speckle in oxidation firing.
M390: Very smooth clay with medium plasticity. Similar to M340 but fires a leather brown color.
M370: Mid-temperature, smooth, plastic, semi-vitreous. M370 is Plaisnman's most popular white burning clay. M370 is semi-vitreous (it is somewhat porous at cone 5-7). It is very white because it uses more kaolines and less ball clays.
Granite: A dark variegated neutral-grey cone 6 stoneware. Not recommended for making microwavable tableware; clay becomes hot. Priced per 20 kg carton.
Tuckers Mid White: used for both throwing and hand building. It is a fireclay-based body with a non-sticky feel. The addition of 5% of 35 mesh grog helps to make it an excellent dryer.
